Joanne Killmeyer brings 25 years of experience to Applied Research, with a well-blended background in leadership and organizational effectiveness, line experience, and work with business leaders, teams and individuals. Her experience has focused in the areas of training, facilitation of leadership teams, and coaching, as well as developing and aligning critical HR systems and processes (e.g., performance management, career development and succession planning) to reinforce organizational vision, values and key strategies.
Since joining Applied Research, she has conducted training, facilitation of teams, and design work for tailored programs and assessment centers.
Joanne spent twenty-three years with Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Ciba Pharmaceuticals, where she initially started as a corporate trainer. Her business experience as a pharmaceutical representative and district manager gives operational experience in addition to her human resource development background. Other experience includes heading up the North American Leadership Development for Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Organizational and Leadership Effectiveness for the Additives Division, Organizational and Training Center for the Pharmaceutical Division and seven years managing the Marketing & Sales Development function. Prior to Ciba, she was in sales with the Dale Carnegie Institute and in training with ADP.
Joanne holds a bachelor's in science degree in psychology and sociology from SUNY Oneota, an M.B.A. from Fordham University in New York City, and an Ed. S. degree from George Washington University (Executive & Leadership Development in HRD). |
